The West Virginia Department of Arts, Culture and History has announced that the proposed state historic preservation annual work program for 2003-04 is now available for public review and comment.
Copies of the proposed work program are available at public libraries in each of the state’s 55 counties. The program also may be reviewed at the State Historic Preservation Office, The Cultural Center, 1900 Kanawha Blvd., East, Charleston, and at West Virginia Independence Hall, Wheeling. The plan also is available on the Division’s website at www.wvculture.org.
Comments may be submitted by completing a “Work Program Comment Form” available at the above locations. Completed comment forms should be mailed to Susan M. Pierce at the Cultural Center address or e-mailed to [email protected]. The deadline for public comment is Aug. 15, 2003.
