Gov. Freeman Here, Speaks Briefly

Governor and Mrs. Freeman of Minnesota, paid a brief visit in town Saturday evening, enroute [sic] from Parkersburg to Sistersville.
Governor Freeman was in the area on behalf of Senator Hubert Humphrey, who seeks nomination as the Democratic candidate for the presidency.
Ted Kennedy, brother of John F. Kennedy, Presidential Candidate, will speak from the Court House steps in Harrisville, Saturday, May 7, at 4:00 P.M. Public is invited.
