Dr Sir Enclosed please find certificates for subsistence & in Duplicate form, which have long delaid in consequence of not being able to get the account properly certified. The recruiting officer being absent, those he left me at the time was returned on account of not being in form, and you enclosed me these to get properly certified and this was my first opportunity. Will you be good enough to enclose me a draft or certificate of deposit in national or Merchants & Mechanics Bank for the amt. North Weston Bank is not current here. In haste
