Sir-
I wish to say to you that when I wrote for clothing I thought I would have an amply suply- [sic] thinking as I did that those men who had served last year would need neither overcoats nor rubber blankets. But it is now ascertained that those rubber blankets that were worn last year have given out as well as some over coats. This being the- case I was compelled to issue new ones.
I have now twenty four men and yet need for these, eight rubber blankets and three overcoats. Will it be possible for us to get them.
You will please when convenient send me a requisition for provisions for the specified number of men.

I perhaps should say that I received the two requisitions for seventeen and 20 men in this month and destroyed the one as ordered.
