Dear Sir- I find on examining the Pay Rolls that you have omitted to send money for two of my men viz John Coontz and F. S. Cromton Decd Said Coontz died on 6th March 1864 & Crompton died on the 20th on about that time however I will get the exact date and [unreadable] to you. Under the Circumstances the Friend of these men should have their money. I have no doubt that they will get it when you understand the matter correctly

You will see from the face of the Pay Rolls that their respecting amount have not been carried out
