Dear sir I inclose a certificate of the Render of Boone County of my qualification Rco[?] as administrator of Anthony Epling Dead who was a Private in Capt C Adkins [illegible] Home Guards his having deceased in Richwood Virginia as a Prisioner[sic] of War, leaving a wife and five, so you will please send me a draft for the amt[sic] [illegible] on said pay holes to some person in Charleston and at the same time inform me by letter at Peytona Boone County W Va
