You will herewith receive a Power of attorney sent me by David P King, to collect the amount of Wages &c which he claims due him Viz Pay as Sergeant in Captain Ellisons Co of State Troops _ from the 15th day of June 1864 to 15 Sept, 1864 while a prisoner in the hands of the Rebels from Said Capt. Ellison's Co -

He writes to me that when was exchanged or released as such Prisoner he reported at Wheeling to the Adjt,, General, and a record of the same was made by him,

You will See that the power of attorney has been filed up by him in my name which should not have been done but it will make no difference you can sign his name to the Rolls - and send me a check for what may appear due yours C Mollohan
