Gov A I Boreman requested my Father to give him some information in regard to two Co of State Troops [illegible] Capt.s. Chapman & Ellis of Calhoun Co as to Their whereabouts of This Hd[?] or where they are operating They were organized & Come for Calhoun & They have never been in the County to my knowledge Them [illegible] are at Spencer Roane Co I came from home & forgot to bring this letter as you are in immediate communication with him you will please give him the information desired. This note leaves me in usual health & would be glad hear from you soon
