Sir I have received them guns that you sent to me a few days since and three of them was broken. I have both those other guns w/in good order. And have them Ready to Ship to you.

I would like to keep the Shoulder Straps that belongs to them [?] for them you sent me had none and some of my men are [?] an cant carry there caterboxes without them. I have received that Box of caterges at last wich was lost.

p.s. let me know where it will be satisfactory to retain them or not..
