Yours of the 12 bane[sic] Druly to hand and Truant and Spoke to left Bush in regard to the payment of those men at harisville [sic] he told me that he had not paid that money over and that he had not time to attend to it now but said that some time he would go out and pay it but as there is no excuse for him and as it has been about 7 months sence[sic] the det[sic] was made they should have there money yours with respect
