General Excuse me for troubleing [sic] you with this but the Clamant is quite poor & in need and I did not know when I would see a Pay master
Please collect it and pay yourself for your trouble and place the balance to my credit in Merchants Michanies Bank
The claim is (that Encloses) One hundred and Ninety eight dollars and two cents
