A citizen of Boone County intelligent and loyal has requested me to furnish you the following names as suitable persons for the office specified for Boone & Logan Viz-

For adjutant Boone Co. John Atkins esy
`` Cap. Patrols `` `` Cumberland Atkins
`` `` `` Wyoming`` John Cook
`` adjutant `` `` Charles Stewart
He could Logan he could venture
To recommend on one as they appear greatly under session influence as yet

Please forward with commissions copies of the causes on these subjects - I should be glad to get also a stock of the addresses of the convention, then [illegible] names, your message and documents and Hallets argument of the constitutional question - sketches of the laws to [unreadable] I was unable to get or carry many of them - The distracted condition of the country has cut off all knowledge of the acts and doings of our new government - and we are yet without postal communication, except government boats from Gallipolis - MT. Wm H. Langley of Gallipolis will promptly forward all communications addressed to me - For a man under the law of Wise [unreadable]. I receive due share of constitution - The People are sound and ready to accept our authority - Of sound men of our gentry we have a meager account-
