To his Excellency
Arthur J. Boreman
Gov of the conf of WVa

Sir I wish you to commission William A Slater, 1st Leiut of [?] Wm Gibsons company, in the room of John Gibson, who volunteered in the U.S. service. Also, one for David W. Fisher, in the same Company in the room of Emberson Fisher, who volunteered in the United States service also.

I wish you to alter the commission of Jeremiah Balinger, he holds his commission as Jacob Balinger which is not his name.

Please give this your earliest attention
