Dear Sir. Please notice. That I strike red line across the figures oposite Nelson Pauleys name on the pay roll. No pay was due him. Se date of enlistment April 30th.
I also correct William Smiths time 3 instead of 2 months. Which is right, I added $13 to his pay, which lieves $15.28 in my hands.
These two errors, I find and correct. This is rite ..
We have a dispatch hear this evening saying that the 140 has had a fight and suffered quite a loss.
