COUNTY COURT - The County Court August, Quarterly term, on Monday morning last, unanimously agreed to levy a tax for the relief of the families of volunteers from this county. A levy of 50 per cent on the amount of State Revenue was laid, marking, we believe $6754 Quite a sum for our young men to consider before they are drafted, and have to leave their families unprovided for - Drafted men don't get any of it. - Fairmont National.
