Public Meeting.

A public meeting of the voters of Sand Hill, Marshall co., was held October 10th. On motion, Wm. Worden was called to the chair, and Joseph Marsh appointed Secretary.

The object of the meeting was to nominate Union candidates for the offices to be filled at the approaching election. The following candidates were nominated: For Senator, James Burley; House of Delegates, Joseph Turner and Michael Dunn; Commissioner of the Revenue, George Pelley, for upper district.

On motion, this was ordered to be signed by the President and Secretary, and published in the Wheeling Intelligencer.
