Prisoners From Gen. Averill's Command. - Nearly a hundred prisoners captured by Gen. Averill in his recent engagement with the rebels in Pocahontas county, arrived yesterday morning and were committed to the Atheneum. There were scarcely a whole suit of clothes in the whole party, and many of them were without shoes. Judging from the fact that a fall of snow was lately announced in the vicinity of where the fight took place, these shoeless rebels must have suffered terribly from the cold.

The guard which accompanied the prisoners are from Colonel Harris' 10th West Virginia regiment, who were for the most part born and reared in the interior counties of the State. Having never before seen a town as large as Wheeling, there are many things here which appeared to interest and delight them.
