At a meeting of the citizens of Centre Township, held at the 5th Ward school house, on Wednesday evening, December 23d, 1863, Mr. H. B. Hubbard was called to the chair, and S. P. Hildreth was elected Secretary.

The following gentlemen were nominated for the following offices:

Supervisor - Joseph Salisbury.
Township Clerk - Jas. Armstrong.
Overseer of Poor - James Reed.
Township Treasurer - Robt. Pratt.
Justices of Peace - E. Halley M'Coy, Thos. H. List.
Inspectors of Election - M. B. Reed, Thos. Neill.
Delegates to County Convention - C. D. Hubbard, Danl. Lamb, Wm. Kraft.
Committee to procure tickets - Jos. Salisbury, S. P. Hildreth.

Resolved, That the proceedings of this meeting be published in the Wheeling Intelligencer. Adjourned.
