Meeting in Marshall County.

Pursuant to notice, a meeting of the voters of Washington Township, Marshall county, was held at the Court House in Moundsville, on Saturday, the 26th inst., for the purpose of nominating candidates for the Township offices and deciding as to whom said Township should support for the office of County Treasurer.

The Township ticket was nominated as follows:

Supervisor - Jeremiah Jones.
Magistrates - William Blake and James Turner.
Treasurer - Jno. S. Riggs.
Constables - S. L. Bloyd and H. Zedicker.
Clerk - G. S. McFadden.
Overseer of the Poor - Jno. Kyle.
Superintendents of Elections - T. J. Cox and J. Bryson.

The nomination of N. K. Shattuck for County Treasurer was unanimously endorsed.

After instructing the Secretary to furnish a copy of its proceedings to the Wheeling Intelligencer for publication, the meeting adjourned.
