A report was in circulation yesterday that the rebels had succeeded in forcing Gen. Tyler out of Martinsburg and had occupied the place. Telegraphic communication was had yesterday over the Baltimore and Ohio railroad as far east as Sir John's Run, which is about thirty miles this side of Martinsburg, but nothing was known there as to the movements at the latter named place.
