There is a rebel force still in South Branch Valley. It is said to be Pegram's brigade of Rosser's division. They are gathering supplies, and paying secret sympathizers for the same in gold and silver. The quantity of supplies they are gathering is reported to be tolerably large. The rebels are reported to have concentrated on the line of New River, with a view to checking the combined operations of Burbridge and Stoneman, as elsewhere rivers and creeks are very high in Southwestern Virginia.
