THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS.:It will be recollected that the board of Supervisors levied the late $300 bounty to soldiers "provided each sub-district shall raise a sufficient amount of money to pay an extra sub-district bounty of $200.":Recently it was discovered that the recruits could be obtained for a less amount of money than was contemplated by the order, and a considerable number of recruits were procured for $100 extra bounty and many for the county bounty of $300 alone. In view of this fact a majority of the Board met yesterday morning and virtually rescinded their action so far as related to the $200 extra bounty. This action appears to have given some dissatisfaction to the people residing in the county districts who put in their men at the $200 and who claim that the city has put in some of her men for less money while the county people have to pay the same amount of tax on the county levy.
