The type of political blitz that brought out record primary election votes in Wisconsin is about to hit West Virginia.

Sen. Hubert H. Humphrey in his bid for popular support for the Democratic presidential nomination will lead his Greyhound bus caravan into West Virginia Friday.

Sen. John A. [sic] Kennedy will arrive in the state Monday. His itinerary has not been announced.

The Kennedy ball started rolling this afternoon with the arrival here of the senator's brother, Bob Kennedy, to address campaign workers at the Kennedy headquarters in the Kanawha Hotel. Following the 3 p.m., talk he flew to Clarksburg to address workers there in the Stonewall Jackson Hotel.

At the same time Humphrey comes into the state, Franklin D. Roosevelt Jr. will arrive to speak in behalf of Kennedy. He will make addresses in Clarksburg and Harrison County on that day. Saturday he will be in Madison at noon and in Logan for a parade and dinner meeting. Monday appearances will be in Wellsburg and Wheeling and Tuesday in Elkins and Webster Springs.

The Humphrey caravan will leave Charleston early Friday and will stop at the glass plants in Kanawha City, continue to Chelyan and then cover all of Cabin Creek. Appearances will next be made at Cedar Grove, Montgomery, Gauley Bridge, Fayetteville and Beckley where the senator will make a major address at a night meeting.

Saturday appearances will be in Hinton, Princeton and Madison. Monday will be started with a breakfast meeting in Logan. From there the caravan will continue to Man, Oceana, Pineville and to Welch for a luncheon meeting. A night address will be made in Bluefield.
