Franklin D. Roosevelt, Jr., a former New York Congressman and the son of a former president of the United States, will spend approximately two hours in Clarksburg on Friday, April 8, working in behalf of the candidacy of U. S. Senator John F. (Jack) Kennedy, for President of the United States.

Details concerning Roosevelt's planned trip here were received on Tuesday by Harrison County Democratic Chairman Benjamin B. Stout.

Roosevelt will arrive at 2:55 p. m. Friday at Benedum Airport, via Capital Airlines, and he will be taken to the Stonewall Jackson Hotel for a press and radio conference and to meet as many people as possibly before 5 p. m.

Chairman Stout announced that the public is invited to visit the hotel and to meet the son of the late wartime president, Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Franklin D. Roosevelt, Jr. is stumping West Virginia on behalf of his longtime friend, Senator Kennedy.

At 5 p. m. on Friday he will leave by motorcade for Monongah, Marion County, for a dinner speaking engagement sponsored by the Marion County Young Democratic Club. The public is invited to join the motorcade to Monongah.
