Senators Hubert Humphrey and John F. Kennedy are moving their campaigns to West Virginia after receiving results from Wisconsin voters Tuesday.

Smarting from defeat, Senator Humphrey declared "we were hunting rabbits in Wisconsin, we're out for lions in West Virginia."

He is moving into the Beckley area Friday arriving at 2:10 p.m. in Fayetteville.

At the Fayette County Courthouse he is to be greeted by a former colleague, William Larid; Fayette County Democratic Chairman R. D. Thrift; House Majority Leader Tom Myles, Sheriff A. H. Buchanan, and others.

Humphrey is scheduled to address the assembled supporters on the lawn of the courthouse, with a public address system to be provided.

A[t] 3:10 p.m., the Humphrey bus will leave Fayetteville, accompanied by a motorcade of citizens. He plans to campaign in Oak Hill from 3:25 p.m. until 4:10 p.m.; being introduced by the mayor and druggist, G. Steele Callison.

Mayor J. E. Howard and ex-Governor Okey Patteson are expected to welcome the caravan to Mount Hope at 4:30 p.m., with Senator Humphrey to speak from the steps of the school.

At 5 p.m. the caravan is due to roll from Mount Hope to Beckley, with Senator Humphrey pausing at 5:20 p.m. to have pictures made by the roadsign pointing to "Prosperity 4 miles."

A 5:30 p.m. arrival in Beckley is planned, with the Presidential aspirant allowing himself time to bathe, rest and eat before the 8 p.m. rally at the Raleigh County Memorial Building. A reception is to follow his speech.

Kennedy, who indicated he would depend on the Wisconsin voters as to whether he would remain in the Presidential race, will arrive by plane at the Raleigh County Memorial Airport at 7:10 p.m. Monday.

He also plans to make his first visit to a coal mine while in this area.

Senator Kennedy's schedule during his evening visit here is as follows:

7:10 p.m. - arrive at the Raleigh County Memorial Airport from a rally in Charleston;

7:30 - press conference at the county courthouse;

7:45 - reception rally in the Criminal Courtroom;

9:20 - tour of the Slab Fork Coal Co., mining community;

10:30 - depart from the airport.

Don Hodson, chairman of the Raleigh County Kennedy for President Club, said he expects a large turnout for the rally in the courthouse.

The county chairman said he is "well pleased" with the volunteer support the club has received in an attempt to make Senator Kennedy's visit a success.
