Sen. Humphrey Coming Here In Presidential Campaign

Senator Hubert H. Humphrey, Democratic Presidential candidate will pay a visit to Berkeley Springs on Tuesday, April 26, 3:00 to 3:30. He plans to speak at this time in the square.
Senator Humphrey's campaign tour on Monday, April 25, will take him from Huntington to Fairmont, via Summersville, Craigsville, Webster Springs, Buckhannon and Philippi.
On Tuesday, the campaign tour will continue from Fairmont to Harper Ferry via Grafton, Fellowsville, Kingwood, Aurora, Keyser, Romney, Berkeley Springs, Martinsburg and Charles Town.
Senator Humphrey will stop in each of the communities enroute to greet local Democratic leaders, and speak briefly on issues of the campaign.
Announcement of his schedule was made Tuesday by Forrest Talbott, who was here in the interest of the campaign. Mr. Talbott, formerly of Fairmont is now Assistant Secretary of State in Minnesota.
The campaigner will travel, as usual, in a chartered bus, taking along his own small string band and singers to help entertain the crowds.
