Ted Kennedy Visits Here For Brother

Edward M. (Ted) Kennedy visited Ravenswood and other points in Jackson county Tuesday in behalf of his brother John's candidacy for the democratic nomination for president.
He spent Monday in Pt. Pleasant, Mason City, Hartford and New Haven. Tuesday he visited leaders in Ravenswood and Ripley, then went on to Parkersburg.
Ted Kennedy, a graduate of Harvard and the University of Virginia Law School, is devoting all his efforts to his brother's campaign.
He played varsity football at Harvard and served two years with the U. S. Army in France and Germany. He managed Senator Kennedy's 1958 campaign for re-election in Massachusetts, which Kennedy won by 370,000 votes. In November, 1958, he married Virginia Joan Bennett of Bronxville, N. Y.
A member of the Massachusetts bar, he has traveled extensively on behalf of his brother, meeting with Democratic leaders in all parts of the country.
John Kennedy will visit Ravenswood on May 1.
