Ted Kennedy to Visit Area Thursday

Edward M. "Ted" Kennedy, youngest brother of United States Senator John F. Kennedy will arrive in New Martinsville Thursday afternoon in the interest of his brother's campaign.
Senator Kennedy is contesting with Senator Hubert Humphrey of Minnesota in the West Virginia presidential preferential contest on May 10.
Ted Kennedy will visit local industrial plants Thursday afternoon, will receive guests at the Grandview Hotel-Motel and attend a small dinner at the Court Restaurant at 6:30.
Following dinner, Mr. Kennedy will speak at the Wetzel County Court House in the interest of his brother's candidacy and also will visit local plants the following morning. He will leave New Martinsville at mid-morning on Friday.
