Ted Kennedy, younger brother of Sen. John Kennedy, Democratic presidential candidate, will spend two hours in Grafton Saturday in the interests of his brother's campaign, it was announced this morning.

Kennedy is scheduled to arrive in Grafton at 1 p.m. and will go directly to St. Augustine's Social Center where he will be a guest at a public reception and coffee hour lasting until 3 p.m. He will be accompanied by A. James Manchen [sic] of Parkersburg, who is affiliated with the Kennedy campaign headquarters.

Members of the Graton committee arranging the affair are Mrs. Guy Wolfe, Mrs. Stephen Waters, Mrs. Robert Gerkin and Mrs. Fred Kunst.

It will be the first appearance of any of the Kennedy family in the Grafton area, but there appeared to be a possibility today that Senator Kennedy might make a brief stop in the city prior to the May 10 primary.

Sen. Hubert H. Humphrey, Democratic presidential candidate, is expected to be a visitor in Grafton next Tuesday, but no details were available today concerning the length of his visit.

Sen. Humphrey is taking his campaign into Barbour County on Saturday and is scheduled to deliver an address at the Barbour County courthouse at 3:15 p.m.

His intensive scheduled [sic] call for him to be in Huntington on Sunday night, to visit Fairmont and Buckhannon on Monday then to come to Grafton on Tuesday and proceed via Preston county to Harpers Ferry.

Mrs. Muriel Humphrey, the Senator's wife, was a Grafton visitor last Tuesday and chatted with several hundred residents of Taylor County in a coffee hour.
