May 5, 1960
Senator Hubert Humphrey (D-Minn.) is scheduled to deliver a major address on the nation's economy, automation and the social welfare at 8 tonight in the School of Music Auditorium on the University campus.
His speech will highlight a day-long swing through the Northern Panhandle, including appearances at Wheeling and Bethany Colleges.
The schedule for Humphrey announced by the Clarksburg office indicates that he will leave for Huntington shortly after his speech at the University.
Senator Humphrey will be received at the Labor Temple between 9 and 9:15 p.m. tonight.
All local union members are urged to attend and meet the Presidential candidate on the Democratic ticket.
