More Prisoners. - Eight prisoners of war arrived from Charleston, Kanawha county yesterday and were committed to the Atheneum. Three of the prisoners were recognized as having escaped from the Atheneum here some months ago. They at one time belonged to the Union army but were sent here to serve out sentences which had been passed upon them by the courts-martial by which they had been tried for certain offences. They succeeded in making their escape and returned to the Kanawha country where they resided before the war. It is said that these men were operating with the rebels at the time of their capture. If this shall prove true it will go hard with them and if they escape hanging they may consider themselves in luck.
