Sir
I shall be compelled to ask you to be so- kind as to fill a small bill for clothing for my men and forward it to me-

Say One dozen shirts. Twelve pair pants. Six- woolen Blankets. Twelve pairs of drawers. Fifteen- blouses lined. This small bill of clothing would- be quite an accommodation to the men at this time.

If it should so happen that they should draw- more than they are allowed by the regulations could not the several amounts be deducted out of their pays next pay day. I shall keep an accurate account of all the clothing they draw.

I am Sir Very Respectfully
Your most Obt. Servt
