Know all men pay these presents (sic) that I Jacob Barker hath this day appointed Cumberland Adkins my agent and attorney to collect all and any moneys that may be owe me for services Rendered in Said State in 1861 & 1862 ( as Private in Said Adkins Company House yard)s and to assign any and all papers that may be nessary (sic) for the Collection thereof signed sealed and delived (sic) in Presants (sic) of Jacob [?] Barker [?] attest Charles Price.
