Sir
I recd your order sometime since to organize the militia of this county I notified the captains to report I notified the capt of Troy Home Guard to Report also he is of the opinion that he has no right to report his company as part of the 165 Regt Militia so I write you this time for information. he was capt of the Troy company militia until he was made capt of the home Guard nearly all of his men are in the home Guard. How are the others to be organized.
