TOWN MEETING.
August 7, 1862
At a meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Town of Point Pleasant, on Tuesday, the 29th of August*, 1862: On motion of Stephen Comstock it was ordered and allowed by said Council, that the sum of twenty-five dollars, be given to each and every volunteer mustered(?) into the armies of the United States of America, within the corporated limits of said Town.
