A Rebel Spy - A man named W.W. Fitswater, supposed to be a rebel spy was brought into the city yesterday and committed to the Athenaeum. He was arrested on a public road in Barbour County under the following circumstances: Two Federal Scouts met Fitswater on the road and engaging in conversation with him represented themselves as rebels bound for Dixie. Fitswater then admitted that he was a spy and that he had a commission to recruit for Imboden's command. He was of course arrested at once when his commission was found upon his person.
