A Row Up In Hancock - On Friday last while the militia were drilling at New Cumberland, up in Hancock, a fellow by the name of Townsend, a copperhead, yelled for Val[l]andigham. He was knocked down by one of the militiamen, whereupon a general row was likely to take place. A number of the militiamen manifested a desire to take Townsends part. The affair was finally quelled, but in the evening, when the copperheads were returning home they commenced hurrahing for Val[l]andigham at Shanghai, on the Cleveland and Pittsburg Railroad. Some of the Union men of that place fell upon them with stones, and the train coming along just as the time, the copperheads sought shelter in the cars. The Union men, however, continued to pelt them until the train started, and one of the cars was considerably damaged.
