Arrest Of A Noted Robber And Murderer - Capt. Geo. Dusky, a noted rebel robber and bushwhacker was brought here on Monday and confined in jail, having been arrested a day or two previous in Parkersburg. This Dusky belongs to the Dusky family who so distinguished themselves in the bushwhacking line in Wirt and Roane counties at the time of the breaking out of the war. He was the leader of the gang who robbed the post-office at Ripley and threatened the life of the postmaster, for being engaged in which, his father, Old Dan Dusky, is now serving out a three years' term in the penitentiary at Washington City. George was arrested and brought here last summer, but feigning sickness he was taken to the Sprigg House Hospital from which institution he succeeded in making his escape.
