SATURDAY, July 25, 1863.
The President called the House to order at the usual hour, and it appearing that a large number of the members of the House had volunteered for the defense of the Capital, against the invasion of the rebel John Morgan, and that there was not a quorum present.
On motion of Mr. Van Winkle, the House adjourned.
