Confiscation. - By the proceedings of the Brooke county Court, published in last week's Wellsburg Herald, we see that the following action was taken:
George W. Caldwell was appointed Commissioner, under act of 13th November, 1863, to provide for the forfeiture of rebel property in this State, to collect, take possession and administer on the property of Alexander Campbell, Jr., and of Robert Ray, proven by satisfactory evidence to be enemies of the State of West Va. Mr. Caldwell gave security in a heavy sum for the faithful performance of his duty in the case and under the law.
