Killed - Lieut. D. Snowden, of the 17th West Virginia Infantry, was thrown from the cars at New Creek Station on the Baltimore and Ohio railroad, Thursday night, run over and instantly killed. Young Snowden is said to have been a man of more than usual merit, and gave promise to a useful career. He was loved in life and will be mourned in death by all who knew him.
