We learn that on Thursday last [sic] a detachment of Company A, 6th West Va Infantry, stationed at the Fairmost [sic] railroad bridge, while on a scout on the folks of the Monongahela river, killed two rebels named Wm. K. Russell and Samuel Vincent. Both went South at the beginning of the war. They were found at their homes, where they were concealed for a month or two. No particulars are given.
