Hon. John S. Carlile and family left Clarksburg, on Tuesday last, for their new home in Frederick City, Maryland. We do not endorse Mr. Carlile's politics, but socially he is a very amiable nice gentleman. He and his faamily [sic] were agreeable, pleasant members of our community. We hope that their lot may fall in pleasant places, and that Mr. Carlile will correct those political errors which he has entertained, renouncing the worship of strange political gods:live to a good old age, and when the time comes for him to "shuffle off this mortal coil," die in the true faith.
