Q. M. Gen W.Va sir,

More than a month ago I shiped [sic] to you some guns + c. of which I enclosed invoices. I took receipt from the main transportation officer here but have recd none from you. Please inform me if you have not recd them according to the Governors advice I retained some Guns. They I think need not retained much Longer. I have a few saddles +c. to turn over. Should I forward them to you or turn them over to the Ordinance officer here. please send me some Blank Invoices.
