Q: You are the Doctor Hunter who was on the witness stand the other day?
A: Not doctor, no sir, I am the same Hunter though.
Q: Well, Undertaker, it is about the same thing?
A: No, there is a good deal of difference a quite a difference.
Q: You said the other day that you were one of the party that took John Gore from the mountains to the Logan Court House, that is correct, isn't it?
A: To the Court House, No sir. We took him to the morgue.
Q: In the town of Logan?
A: Yes sir.
Q: You were asked to fix the date, and you were unable to do so, can you now fix that date?
A: I wired back for my office record. It gives it as the 31st.
Q: Thirty first of what?
A: August.
Q: 1921?
A: Yes sir.
Q: That is the same day he was shot?
A: Yes sir.
Q: And that is the same day he died?
A: That is what our record shows.
Q: That was Wednesday?
A: I don't remember what day of the week it was.
Q: Look at the calendar and state to the jury what day of the week it was - the calendar for 1921.
A: This says Wednesday.
