From Greenbrier County

To the Editors of the Enquirer:
Lewisburg, Greenbrier County, VA., June 1st, 1861
Old Greenbrier is alive to the cause of the South. She has now three line companies in the field, and two more were organized to day. There is one other nearly ready for organization. One of these companies hails from the White Sulphur Springs and Anthony's Creek neighborhoods; and the other from the Frankford settlement. The first was organized by the election of Col. James W. Davis as Captain and Messrs. Z. F. Morris and ----Agers, Lieutenants. Jacob Taylor was elected Captain of the Frankford Company, and Jonathan Mays and ----McClintic, Lieutenants.
Col. Davis has been exerting himself for ten days past in order to raise a regiment, and his prospects for success are encouraging. The Col. Was elected Captain without opposition, and was absent from the county at the time.
