FLAG PRESENTATION. - On Saturday evening a flag was presented to Capt. Hollister's company from the boarding house of Mrs. Whitten. The Plummer Guards, Capt. Plank's company, and a large number of citizens were present, and the utmost enthusiasm prevailed. Mr. Frost, of Jackson county, made the presentation speech, which was responded to by Capt. Hollister and A. B. Caldwell. E. B. Hull, of Marion, was also introduced and made a most telling speech. The soldiers then marched down Main street and back to their quarters, accompanied by the German brass band, creating a great demonstration along the whole route.
