Sandy Hook, Feb. 25:A boat, whilst attempting to cross the Potomac to Harper's ferry during the gale of yesterday, was swamped, and five soldiers and one citizen was drowned. The ferryman, who was with Mr. Rohr when he was shot be the rebels some time since is the only one escaped.

The secession families are [e]vacuating Charlestown. Three companies of rebel cavalry are the only enemy in sight, and they are about three miles from the Ferry.
