The first train over the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad since the completion of the damaged thoroughfare reached this city yesterday morning at 7 o'clock. Wm. P. Smith, Master of transportation, came through to the city, together with two or three of the directors. The train left Baltimore with nine or ten cars and a guard of forty soldiers, but upon reaching Cumberland the guard and most of the cars were dispensed with.

In accordance with the order of General Kelley, Capt. Frank Buell, of the Peirpoint Battery, fired one hundred guns, in honor of the arrival of the train.
