Riotous Soldiers Committed to the Atheneum.:Yesterday two soldiers came over from the Island and got drunk. In a short time two more soldiers came over for the purpose of arresting the first two and returning them to camp, but instead of doing so it appears that they all got drunk together and were very riotous in their proceedings, jostling roughly against citizens standing upon the sidewalks, attempting to fire off their guns and using profane language. Provost Marshal Darr, detailed a squad of soldiers from Captain Carr's recruiting office for the purpose of arresting the disorderlies, upon the approach of whom, one of the disorderlies ran down an alley and was fired upon without effect. The rest were secured after a voilent [sic] resistance and were marched off toward the Atheneum. One of the soldiers resisted so determinedly that he had to be carried to the prison. Another started to run down Quincy street, before reaching the Athenum [sic], but was brought to by the guard who snapped his gun at him. All of the disorderlies, after a great deal of trouble, were placed safely in the Atheneum.
